Olga Masevich is a visual artist and illustrator currently based in Evanston, Illinois. Born in Russia and of Korean heritage, she has lived and worked in London, Paris, and New York, experiences that continue to shape her creative perspective.
Before dedicating herself fully to art, Olga pursued a diverse professional path — her multidisciplinary background includes formal training as a chef, experience as an entrepreneur, and a professional career in corporate strategy.
Her work blends minimalist aesthetics with a sense of play, often featuring exaggerated shapes, limited color palettes, and a focus on the female form. She works across oil, ink, watercolor, woodblock printing and digital media, bringing a distinct voice to each.
Since 2021, Olga’s work has been exhibited in solo shows throughout the United States and Japan. In 2023, she received an Award of Excellence at Watercolor USA.
By 2024, her figurative approach had begun to shift toward abstraction, with oil painting becoming her primary medium for exploring more expressive, nonrepresentational forms. Her evolving practice continues to reflect both the curiosity of her global background and the clarity of her unique artistic language.
